It is out of respect to our therapists and the efforts they provide that our prices are non-negotiable. We refuse to undermine the effort and experience we provide in our sessions in order to undercut competitors.  Please keep in mind, this is a governed healthcare profession with legal and continuing education regulated by our state. As a Licensed Massage Therapist myself; I understand the hard work my therapists put into their careers.

Q: I'm hurting NOW, when can I see you?

Call us, we could have an opening today!  It never hurts to call and see if there are any openings although the average wait time is 4-24 hours.

Q: Can I just show up?

No. We do not accept walk-ins. You must call to make an appointment, plus you must fill out our Intake Form and bring it with you for your appointment.

The basis for our policy is our commitment to providing you the best form of massage therapy. We have a large staff and while every licensed massage therapist has his or her own specialties, we need to talk with you so that we have a better chance of meeting your physical therapy needs.

Advance Booking/Scheduling

Since some therapists are booked a week or two out, we suggest you schedule in advance to get the exact day or time you need. Please keep in mind that early evening, Friday, Saturday and Sundays are our busiest times.

Scheduling & Policies

24 hour cancellation is expected. Anyone who no-shows without a courtesy call will be billed for the full session as stated and signed on Intake Form. Emails and texts are NOT acceptable means of cancellation. Our therapists have reserved this time for YOU. When you no-show or give last minute cancellation it takes away from someone that truly needs our help.

Cancellation List – Let us know if you’d like to be on a cancellation list, as sometimes we can make it work.

Q: What am I to expect?

The massage room is in a quiet and private area away from any distractions or interruptions. The room is arranged in a dimly lit area with quiet meditative music. We use scented and unscented massage oils/lotions/creams. And have comfortable cushions and pillows to help in the proper positioning with spinal alignment.

Physicians’ approval (if needed)

Cancellation Policy

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are followed:

24 hour cancellation policy is required when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

When you no-show, it takes an appointment away from someone that truly needed to get in. Please be considerate of the therapist and to others and respect everyone’s time.

Late Arrivals

Your session may be shortened in order to stay on schedule for following appointments. We will try to give you the full duration of the session depending upon how late you arrive.

Your therapist will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment or cut it in half. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please be on time.

Q: What is it like in your massage rooms?

The massage room is in a private area away from any distractions or interruptions. The room is arranged with dim lighting and quiet meditative music.

We use scented and unscented massage oils/lotions/creams so let us know if you have any allergies or skin sensitivities. We have comfortable cushions and pillows to help in the proper positioning with spinal alignment, but please let us know if you need an extra pillow or none at all.

We will review your Intake Form with you and address any concerns or questions you may have. We will also let you know what type of massage may be best for you.

Sometimes you may “want” Deep Tissue, but depending on the circumstance, may not be able to handle it. Again, make sure you let the therapist know of any allergies, sensitivities, recent breaks, sprains or medical diagnosis’ that may affect your treatment.

We will leave you alone to undress to your comfort level and will return in a few minutes.

You can get on the table either face up or down depending on what the therapist suggest, always under the sheet and blanket. We do not work on anyone on-top of the sheets. Again, you are always covered as we respect your privacy and our modesty.

We will check with you periodically to ensure your comfort, but we also rely on your feedback. You are in charge of your session and the depth of the treatment. You will not hurt our feelings if you let us know if it’s too deep or not deep enough. We encourage your feedback.

Q: Will I be exposed in any way?

NEVER!!! You will always be draped be either a sheet or blanket depending on room temperature and your comfort zone. State Law prohibits any form of exposure, so your privacy will NEVER be invaded.

Q: What do I wear?

That’s totally up to you. We prefer you to completely disrobe. If you feel more comfortable wearing undergarments that’s not a problem. You are NEVER exposed and always under sheets/blankets. You will need to remove ALL jewelry

Q: How do I know if a therapist is licensed?

You can go directly to the Board of Chiropractic & Massage Therapy Examiners website to search for your therapist to determine if they are licensed. If you do not find their name; they are not licensed.

Q: How often should I get a massage?

Frequency depends on what the problem is. We recommend if your pain is acute or a result of an injury that you visit every three days. For pain that is experienced continually, we recommend monthly “maintenance” visits. Listen to your body and let it tell you. The therapist will make a suggestion depending on work being done.

Q: I have a previous medical condition, should I try massage?

Depending on the medical condition, we will want to see a permission slip or a referral from your Physician first. Massage is not meant to eliminate ANY form of traditional treatment, but to enhance it.

Q: I recently had surgery, should I get a massage?

Depending on the surgical procedure and on your Doctor’s advice you probably can. What we will do is isolate the surgical area and work around it, trying not to interfere with any previous incisions or procedures.
